NOTICE

The Annual General Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, February 7th, 2010, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.  The meeting will be held at the Saint Lazare Community Center (the location of the meeting room will be posted at the entrance).

Please note that you must be a member to be allowed to participate and a member for 1 full year to be proposed for a director position
February 13th 6h30PM

As previously advertised, the CEF is organizing a trail ride under the moon for this Saturday, February 13th.  The rendezvous point is the arch closes the <base plein air> on trail G intersection of trail D at 6:30PM.  It will be a great way to rediscover our Pinière trails under a different light.

 

Exceptionally, we will have access to the base de plein aire Les Cèdres parking lot.  The gate will remin open until 6h15PM then we will reopen it at the end of the activity.  As usual, the Lavigne parking at the end of Lotbinière is open.  Please, pick up after yourselves.

Please note that this is an exceptional event since bylaws 637 of the city of St-Lazare prohibit anyone to be in the Pinière after sunset.

Gilles Lavigne Sleigh Ride


Once again it is time to go out on the winter sleigh ride.  Members should have their CEF tags.  Non-Members will be asked for $15.00 (municipal bylaw 637).  Departure will be between 10:30-11.00.  If you have to prepare your horse and sleigh be sure to give yourself plenty of time.  Riders are also welcome.  The general plan is to go to Gilles Charlesbois, and then back to Gilles Lavigne.


That evening Gilles will be having his annual supper.  The menu;

  • Roast Beef or Turkey and trimmings

  • Salad

  • Dessert

All you can eat

June, 12th, 2010 Summer openning  trail ride

Your Club would like to invite everyone out to a season opening group trail ride on Saturday June 12 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.  This is a great way to get to know your fellow trail riders and enjoy a wonderful day together exploring our beautiful trail network.  We will meet at Les Arches on trail D at 11:00 am.  Bring a picnic lunch if you wish.  In case of rain, it will be postponed to Sunday June 13.

Check your email or website the day before for any last minute changes.

June, 24th, 2010 St-Jean Baptiste Parade

Once more this year, the Club is invited to take part in the large procession of the St-Jean Baptiste Day organized by the town of St-Lazare.  In order to represent our great club and of course, show our horses, we would need your participation. The more riders and carriages are present and the more we demonstrate the equestrian character of our city. Your participation will also show the range of horse breeds and type of horsemanship practiced among our club members.

You have a calm horse of which you have good control in any circumstance; if you wish, you can even show yourselves out in pageantry clothes or even under a disguise.  Come, join the parade this year, and take part of a major event of your city.

Please note that you must confirm your presence to be autorized to participate.  The details will be communicated only to registered participant.
