:)Melin, you are incredibly handsome. I don't know if you will think this is a compliment, but it is: your muzzle is so squishy-looking you almost look like a Shar Pei. Are you a "meat-mouth" Chow? The best of both worlds, I'd say! I am thankful this Thanksgiving day that you are around to give the world a view of perfection. My black Chow girl, Lucy, is in awe of you - she is gorgeous, too, but at 47 lbs., less than 1/2 your size! She said, "He must be the Chow King!"

Hi I live in uk had my first Chow in 1983 have bred 5 litters of pups used to Show them did very well. Iam the only person in the area that has chows . altogether I have owned eleven , but am down to three now , two self red dogs aged four & five also a self red bitch nearly eleven
Iabsolutly adore the Breed could never see life without a Chow

I may have commented to you before, but just the same , I do enjoy the Merlin stories.Written very cute. My mom and I are are/where Shoh-Dee Chows...and where the breeders of Kato. Merlin is a good lookin' boy and I find blacks very special too.

Dear Merlin, The best dog I ever shared my life with was a bling, black chow named Daniel. He too was a king. He died in 2003 and I miss him everyday and can't get attatched to any other dog any more....So O Beautiful One, you are a king, and a mighty handsome one at that...So rule fairly O Great One and be merciful to the little squire that is your underling. Thanks for stopping by my website, Merlin! I'm also a large blue chow, weighing in at 78 pounds. Other dogs in town are in awe of me except my friend Harley and a scruffy little rat dog who guards the antique store, but Harley and me be mates, and the rat dog doesn't really count as a dog.
