Chow Mood: Very Happy

Choc Chow cuddle (17k image)
This is Merlin The BLIND Chow speaking. My website is dedicated to to all the blind dogs in the world who still see happiness, joy and love without the use of the eyes.

Blind dogs see with their hearts. We don't really need our eyes.

I am a Blind Chow, but my world is so full of light! I am truly a Happy Chow.

The little brown, wringly thing sitting next to me, is my seeing-eye pei named; Mei-Mei.

We Miss You Puffy!

I was a very miserable Chow Chow when Puffy left me. My family moved into a new house last year.
This had helped me alot in some ways, but not alot in other ways. I spent most of my time looking for her. I looked everywhere and finding Puffy became my entire focus every day. No one here was able to tell me where she went.

Moving into a new house helped me stop looking for Puffy. I couldn't smell her anywhere in the new house. I couldn't smell Puffy anywhere on the sofas anymore. All the new smells here kept me busy as I worked to discover my new world. This really did help me to stop looking and crying. I don't think the Humans moved because of me, but the timing couldn't have been better.

A Little About Me

I am a blind chow. I see nothing... zippo.. nada.
I sometimes need a little help here and there. Puffy was my "eyes". She looked after many things for me.

When we moved into our new house I bumped into everything, fell down a lot of stairs, refused to go outside alone, and became very, very miserable. I started to hate my world, my family's world, and everyone in it. I became overly protective, agressive and very short tempered. Not fun for anyone around me.

Things have changed for me recently, and I am much happier than ever before.
Her name is Mei-Mei. I couldn't be happier.

Merlin's Daily Bread are my chronicles, and help keep my friends and family up to date with me, my family and my daily sejours.

I'm a very, very busy ChowChow now.
Please use the "Comments" area as my official guestbook.
I love to hear from everyone.
I posted a Brief Bio about myself on another page.

Hi
I just read about Merlin and I thought it was a great idea to have a webpage for him. My friend also likes Chows and has one named kasey. Could you E-mail her some of what I read or new stuff? Her E-mail is rdegenaars@pianj.com Recently her dad passed away. I'm sure this would cheer her up.
Thank you!:)

Hi King Merlin,
Hope you had fun on Halloween. We only had one trick or treater due to the heavy rain here in Houston. Did you dress up or just answer the door? We are two of your faithful subjects and thank you for the lamb chop rule. You rule!!!

Awh, it is hard to lose a loved one. For people and animals. I hope he fared well through his grieving process.

Pei hugs,

Steph

Message to Kimena

Thanks for visiting our site. Unfortunately Merlin's days of being a daddy are over. He can't have children anymore... but we do know lots of wonderful breeders who have little Merlin clones and will probably be able to help you.

Please let us know!
