05/17/2005: "Summer Finally Here? Not So Sure !"

For the very first time since long, long, ago, signs of Summer are there this morning!
Crucial tools for mornings like this:
Floppy slippers
Big old housecoat
Big cup of coffee
and ME.... Merlin The Chow
(The prima donna is still in bed)
She misses out on the nice weather


Mornings like this one have simply been too far and few in between.
It's fun to feel the sun on one's fur.
It's great to roll around in the dust.
It's perfect to sit under my "pondering tree" and enjoy my "Chow Ponders".




We get up early here. 5:30 am or 6:00 am the latest.
Too many good things happening in the morning hours.
Don't want to miss anything.

Miss MeiMei will never learn will she. She's still in bed.
We won't see HER for a while. GOOD says I. I get to enjoy my morning without the presence of the Queen of Torture.


Aren't Chow toes the neatest toes in the world?
They are certainly nicer than those witchy claws!

Well Merlin, the morning hours are the most important from the whole day. Going for a 'little' and 'bigger' business, breakfast and of course the cosy...coffee time moments.
It's, of course, all nothing when someone stays in bed or if someone is reading the newspaper.
Be careful with the breakfast. It should be continental, as we say here in Europe, and not English.....

Yes finally its almost summer. Merlin enjoy the cool mornings because before you know it, its going to be hot and sticky. I'm glad to see that your fur has grown back beautifully.
