Yikes! I'd better be careful. Lucy's rear end looks just like Merlin's in the walking-away mode. Maybe I'd better get busy with the brush before she gets any ideas. Merlin, don't worry - Chows rule! If it gets too bad, you can come to Nashville and hang out with our pack. Ming is a very respectful Shar Pei and would not dream of gnawing on a Chow! You look just like a bigger Lucy. I would take you two together to the "dog" park and give the Labs and other rabble a look at a real couple.

Merlin! What an adventure you had!! That pesky tummy! Made you too hungry before you left the province.. You're always welcome to mosey on down to Colorado and receive a full massage, brushing, fishy food and full attention from us! But then again, MeiMei might get jealous.. She sure looks good in her worrying pics in search for you... So glad you reunited with your loved ones and filled up your stomach!

*sigh* Merlin I know just how you feel...well not about the scruffy Chow part cuz I have short Chow hair but the getting chewed on by your little sister! I swear Cocoa thinks I am a chew toy some days! Maybe it's cuz they are not Chows and just don't know any better.....then again maybe it's just their way of saying they love us, a painful way, but their way nonetheless!

Merlin:
Your Mom and MeiMei the PeiPei were really freaking out when you took off. I am glad you are safely re-united, and fed, and brushed. My blind Chow sends her warm regards also, and says to tell you that it is easier to get food just by annoying the fridge: She says eventually the humans get so tickled at watching you talking to the fridge that they HAVE to open it and let you inspect the inside, and grab something healthy to eat. Same way with brushes, vocalizing toward the brush basket brings results.

I had the day off, and I read ALL the archives. Human, you are certainly a creative and engaging writer. I love reading of the adventures of M&M, and MM. Your ChowPeis have a wonderful life together with you. Have I missed something? IS OCt. 4 the final entry?
