Fog is a magical thing- it can subtly enhance our appreciation of ordinary things. Here in VA it is getting hotter each day- we were at 81 (F) today. But, reading the stories of Merlin and Meimei and Sassy can enhance my days even better than fog can. Chows and Peis are such special creatures, who reward us so immensely well for the little bits we do for them... My first Chow went to the Rainbow Bridge May 1, and I am still shaken to my core by his transition, after 13+ years of being with him every day. He left a big part of himself in the little black fur kid who is now accompanying me daily, but the puppy enthusiasm is sooo seductive to the 'old man' that he gets a little distracted from time to time.... I'm happy for him, and I know he'll settle down soon. I am very happy for Merlin and the Peis, having their wonderful Montreal life with their human... I'll be watching for the next posting...
