06/14/2006: "Wayne Gretky's Jock Strap???"

Did someone say Wayne Gretsky's k=jock strap? ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww!
What is wrong with this?!?

June 4th- 2006

Friday we fried.... Saturday we froze... Suday we recovered.

It was soooooooo hot on Friday, I spent most of the day taking the chowdren
in and out of the water to cool them off. As you will see, other humans
shared my idea that day. Here are some pei-ling beach party pics for your
enjoyment. We ended up there for at least an hour.




Since they are both blind and calmer, I take Merlin and Sassy together away
from the "P.I.T.A" and the other dogs as sometimes the other dogs are a
little too rambunctious. You can see the little peil-ling here trying her
hardest to get the stick away from that grumpy old sheppard mix, who
absolutely refused to give it up. She ended up chewing it into 1000 pieces,
rather than let the pei-ling get it.



Saturday in the rain, and I mean rain, we had our SPCA garage sale and
raise 165.00 for our local SPCA, so that was nice. Again today we sat under
the "big tent".. selling a much left over stuff as possible. You'd be amazed
at how many 0.25 and 0.50 items you have to sell to make up 165.00.
We worked our butts off and also sold lemonde and hotdogs.


The "item" of the show was hockey player Wayne Gretsky's used jock-strap
which went up for bids at 100.00, however for those with smaller budgets we
only charged 0.25 for a sniff! ewwwwwwww!... we made tons! LOL
(of course we were lying through our teeth.... J-strap belonged to no other than BIG TOE Taylor!)


It was all in all a great weekend spent with great people.
