04/15/2007: "Grooming Day"

Oh - Oh... she's gone over to, "that", drawer and I hear that all too familiar, "clink", of combs, brushes, scissors, wash cloths and bottles of this and that. OMG !! It' must be Sunday!!! YIKES - it's Chow cleaning day! I'd better high tail it out of here!!!

This is Merlin's Mom speaking. That little chow tried his best to go hide outside faaar away from the sound of brushes and combs. We've been diligent in our efforts to keep the king nicely groomed and it's paying off. I was trying to get a picture of him up on his bench being groomed, but as I walked over to get the camera, the little stinker jumped off and pulled over the entire bench, and all the paraphenalia that was on the edge, including my cup of coffee! What a mess! Coffee everywhere in all the fluffies of hair.

Well, we did get it done. Eyes cleaned, nose and eyes all cleaned and whiped, and his pants are all nicely trimmed and hemmed. HE looks Spring time wonderful now.



Everyone got groomed today including the pei-lings.

NO comments yet? The King got groomed a week ago and no one commented? Well, we do expect our King to always look regal and fabulous and stuff, so maybe we take it too much for granted. Having more than two rough-coat black Chows myself, I can tell you it is no easy task to fully brush one.

Merlin you look great! MM, you do a super job with Merlin and the Pei-lings. I guess they are a little easier to groom...
