08/10/2007: "Things returning to normal here"
We're in for an action packed weekend full of chow pei here!
Well I think I got some really nice pictures tonight.
DIP came by to drop Pumpkin off, who turned out to be delightfully charming, even though teensie-weensie big mouth didn't hesitate to growl at Pumpkin.
I don't think she realizes just how big Pumpkin is. I mean... Pumpkin could squish her with one paw..... sheesh... .anyway little Miss Hell on Wheels got corrected at every growl and after a while decided to become more tolerant. We're Pumpkin sitting, because Humans are going on pei-cation.
Look at little Peanut. As you can see, it's amazing... if you feed a dog , they gain weight. I'm simply NOT understanding why these dogs sent to us from shelters are so darn thin. I just don't understand it . Look at her on just one week of food. Ribs no longer showing, and she looks fed.
Anyways, we're in for a fun time. Merlin is taking this all in stride. He's such a hero he is.
Right now Pumpky Poo is lying on one side of the computer chair... Peanut on the other side. I feel safe. I certainly feel loved. Could it get any better? Yes, it sure could. Suki will be here on Sunday for 10 whole days!!!! can't wait. The Thimble is officially FULL of chow pei.
Oh and after you look at the pics, you can look at l'il Stinker getting her glasses off and then MeiMei in the water chasing duckies. MeiMei is living proof that sharpei LOVE water. yes, they LOVE water! If your sharpei doesn't like water, well, then, there's something wrong with it. It might be one of those landline pei.
Watch Peanut take her glasses off:
Watch MeiMei go Duck Hunting
For those of you not in the know... Pumpkin is a rescue from California, and Peanut is our newly arrived puppy mill rescue from California
Peanut required very extensive surgery. Please find it in your heart to donate towards her veterinary fund. We're still slightly short and every little bit helps.
