Welcome Summer!!! It's still hot and muggy here. *Whew*
What's a blind dog supposed to do?
No escaping that sticky heat.
We've all become little Blind waterbugs.
Poor Peeny-Weeny was so hot today, she totally lost her head, stripped down to the skivvies, and took the plunge right into Merlin's pool without asking. No pei-kini, just 'au naturel'! Peanut just couldn't help herself.

Our little winged-wonder did 3 entire turns around the 12 foot diameter pool.
What an action girl she is!

When she finally decided to get out, she ran around over the place rolling and playing before she konked out for the night and had a wonderful, peaceful sleep!
Skinny dipping clearly agrees with her.

As if there isn't enough going on here, Merlin now has a Seeing-Eye-Chow! Yes-sir-eee! He has a Guide Chow to help him get around the neighbourhood.

This is a very scarey time for us and most rescues as we head into our July 1st, Moving Day here, where MANY animals are abandoned and left behind in appartments. Please people , be responsible and humane. Do not abandon your pets who love you. There are alternatives and help for you. Don't leave them behind to fend for themselves, starve or get tossed into the streets by the new tennants.
